Yellowstone "Trip"

It was a 16.5 hour drive to West Yellowstone, Montana.
We stuffed the "Burbie" to the Max!
 We watched 6 DVD's & some of them multiple times;
not because we wanted to but because each bump would restart the DVD!
 Very Cozy!

Idaho
Very flat & full of flies & bees!

 Matching PJs
 Grizzly Bear!

 Wolves

The bear tested out the garbage can to ensure it was "bear proof."
Jumping on it like he's giving it CPR.

 Down time back at Worldmark.

 Welcome to Yellowstone!
Our first of many bison to see!  Although our first wildlife
siting in Yellowstone was a chimpmonk running across the road.

 Jon with the good camera!
Our first glimpse of the steam near Painted Pots.

 Bubbly Mud Pots!

 Old Faithful.
 There she blows!
 Henry doesn't appeared impressed!

 Old Faithful behind us.
 Ice cream for everyone!
Our first of many bull elk to see.
 Sweet friends.
You will notice a theme emerge between these two...
Aden, although smaller, is quite a bruiser!

 Mammoth Hot Springs
Herd of elk lounging in the middle of town.

 Bison everywhere!

 Picnic
 Bull elk on the hillside.
The crowd created by the bull elk.

 Peaking through to see.

 What a little pointer!
The Two dads backpacking the babies.
CRAZY drop off at the top of a 300 foot waterfall.
 View from the waterfall.

 View of that same waterfall.
We were just standing on the right side of the top of this.

Notice the huge elk napping on the front porch in Mammoth.

This huge guy just finished "playing" with another elk.

 Petrified rock.

Jon & Elisha's faces red only because they raced to the top
of the many many stairs...and TIED!!!!
Bull snake that Elisha ALMOST stepped on!

One of the entrances to Yellowstone, near Mammoth.

The rare occasion that Aden actually napped in the car!

 Henry turning the other cheek!

Traffic jam from Bison crossing the road.

On our way back home through Montana.
