October Happenings

This is soooo cute...Cousin Jordyn is feeding Henry...they both are really enjoying this!!

Henry learned to pop the buttons in his monkey book.

This is Kevin Zwart showing us his Special Olympic Gold Medals from Athens Greece in Swimming!

Henry & Mom harvesting from our garden!

Notice how sweet he is with his hand on Mom's knee!

We found two bumblebees hibernating in the dirt.

This is officially the "dirtiest" he's ever gotten...the picture doesn't show his
blackened socks!  At one point, he actually went onto his belly & did a
"snow angel" in the dirt!  He LOVED it!

Eventually, this shelving unit became overflowing!

This is only part of the many heirloom tomatoes we harvested from our garden this year.

We also got pounds and pounds of potatoes!

Some were absolutely HUGE!!!

Henry LOVES balloons & points to them at every store we go to, so
he finally got to take one home & he carries it around EVERYWHERE!
He has even held it while eating...it's like a new friend!

Here we are, carving our pumpkins.

Yeah, his diaper verified that he swallowed a seed or two!

Here are the finished products...
Little Henry, Mom, & Dad!

Unfortunately, they only lasted one week before melting!

WARNING to squeamish people!!!!
This is my first deer to shoot & field dress myself!
We canned 31 quarts, ground about 25 lbs & made about 25 steaks
from both Ryan & my does.

Getting Henry exposed at an early age so he won't
be squeamish like others!

Here is our small group dinner.

Auntie Tanya doing the puzzle with Henry.
He is finally starting to take interest.

Our little hunter for Halloween.
